ASA Institute Bosnia and Herzegovina was the official venue of Sarajevo Slush’D

On 15 October, ASA Institute Bosnia and Herzegovina was the official venue of Sarajevo Slush’D, a tech and innovation event organized by 38X Ventures, the initiators of bringing the global Slush concept to Sarajevo. Their goal was to connect the local startup community with international investors, accelerators and technology leaders, and to position Sarajevo as a regional hub for innovation.

The event brought together founders, students, engineers, investors, corporate partners and representatives of global organizations, with strong support from partners such as Google Cloud, Raiffeisen Bank, EBRD and other ecosystem players, in line with the announcements published on Klix.ba. ASA Institute, as an institutional partner, provided the space and platform for these connections to happen and for the regional startup scene to be presented in a structured, business-oriented format.

Sarajevo Slush’D clearly demonstrated that Bosnia and Herzegovina has the talent, knowledge and ambition to create globally relevant startup stories, provided that the right infrastructure, mentors, and investors are brought together. This is precisely the role ASA Institute intends to continue playing: supporting initiatives that empower young innovators, encourage technology-driven entrepreneurship, and connect business, academia and the public sector.

This event is not an isolated activity, but part of a broader effort to build a sustainable innovation ecosystem in the country. ASA Institute will continue to partner with organizers, international programs such as Techstars, and global technology companies to ensure that Sarajevo remains a meeting point for ideas, capital and talent.
